Learn to Use Online Green Building Scoring Tool for Verification


This "hands-on", one-day course will take place on Thursday, September 30 at the HBA office from 8 am to 4 pm. Special Guest presenter is Rick Kaufmann, CGB and verifier from Laclede Gas in St. Louis. Rick verified more than 100 homes under the Green Building Guidelines. BUILDERS AND REMODELERS: Learn to use the scoring tool to have a building/remodeling project verified under the Standard. SUPPLIERS AND SUB-CONTRACTORS: Learn more about what the scoring process requires you to provide to builders/remodelers for verification. If you wish to receive a copy of the NAHB Green Building Standard with your registration, the cost is $30 for HBA members. If you do not need a copy of the Standard, the cost is $20 and includes lunch.

Greening Missouri Homes Conference Postponed Until October

The first annual Greening Missouri Homes conference, due to be held March 16-17, is being postponed due to unforeseen circumstances.  The event has been rescheduled for October 19-20, 2010 at the Capitol Plaza Hotel in Jefferson City, Missouri.

Those who already had registered for the event originally scheduled to take place March 16-17 may choose to keep their registration for the rescheduled conference dates or request a refund by contacting the MU Conference Office at  muconf1@missouri.edu or faxing a request to  (573) 882-1953.  Questions can be addressed by calling (573) 882-4038.

Registrants are reminded to cancel or rebook any hotel accommodations directly with Capitol Plaza Hotel at (800) 338-8088 or local (573) 635-1234.
